INTERSECT 2024 is an interdisciplinary symposium presenting the brightest minds in academia, research, industry, and policy-making. This year, we are excited to host the event at Stanford University, the birthplace of Silicon Valley and the epicenter of technological innovation, although most programs will run virtually on August 2nd, 2024. This year's theme is "Indonesia at the Crossroad of Technology, Sustainability, and Society", underscoring the urgent needs for collaborative effort to address the challenges and opportunities in Indonesia's sustainable development.
We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to join us and synthesize robust policy recommendations and academic blueprints for Indonesian pathways to sustainable development. Our ultimate goal is to create a dynamic network that strengthens Indonesia's approach to practical, real-world challenges through technological and scientific innovation. We seek to foster collaborations that leverage advancements in technology and science to strengthen a sustainability-focused economy, underpinned by AI, robotics, and other technological breakthroughs.Call for Submissions
